Interactive Resume 10/22

Today i added motion to the asteriods. I took the asteriod off to the right side, and created it into a movie clip. Then i double clicked it to add motion inside the movie clip. I created keypoints from the right side to the left side, and then blank keyframes so that there would be a delay from the next time that they would appear. I didn't get to do much else so it doesn't look good at all but im going to slow them down and make them more random. here is the video example.

Oh wait, nevermind, apparently blogger doesn't like .swf files and failed to recognize my video. oh well.

I didnt have any time to work today because i was one of the 5 students selected to have an internship oppertunity with SWCS. Then after that me and Nate were sent to talk to Steward G. Gibbony III to talk about the internship.

today i opened up my project and then we got called down to the cafeteria for a jostens senior meeting. So we were there for most of the class. I came back and went to flickr.com to get qa picture of a asteriod. I took it into photoshop and got rid of the edges, and saved it as a .gif so it would have a transparent background. Then i added it to my library and then put it into the picture. Im going to make it into one of my neutral state animation. so..... heres the new pic.

Today i started out by creating a yahoo account since you need one to have an account on flickr. Then I opened up flash and got my resume up. The first thing i did was to add more detail to the teleporter. I created circles using the oval tool, and added a filter to it and played a game and left. pic up later.

Today i create the monitor. I used the line tool to create the basic outline of the monitor. Then added some curves to give it a smoother feel. I created the screen after that. Added more color, and changed the alpha to the screen to make it see-through.

Today i noticed that the legs on my computer consol were'nt in the same perspective as the floor and wall. So i used the sub-selection tool and selected the bottom corners of the legs and moved them down. This also drug an unneeded part of the desk down with it, so i used the selection tool and moved the lines back up and deleted the unnwanted background.

Next i started creating the time machine. I created a circle using the oval tool and added the fan blades and gradients, then distorted it to match the floor. Then i copied the bottom and moved it to the top and deleted the fan and added a curved top with the line tool. I connected the top and bottom together with the line tool and then added a yellow fill and changed the alpha so that it became see through.

Today i worked on creating the space in the background of my mm. I started off by goin online and getting a pic of the moon and bringing it into photoshop. I wanted to change the color so that it wouldn't look so original. So i changed the hue of the moon and adjusted the intensity of the color so that it had an orangish glow to it. I also added filter, render, light effects to get the shading effect on the left side of the moon.

After that i got a space template out of the studen drive and took it into photoshop. I raised the brightness so that you can see the stars. Then i saved the moon as a .gif and the stars as a .jpg, and imported them both onto my library in flash. Then i drug them both in and then adjusted the size and position till i found something that i thought suited the envirnment.

Today i added more detail into the computer and some more color for the consol itself. i used the line tool to create some of the levers, and then i used the eliptical marquee tool to create all the lights. This is what it looks like after all the new details in it.

Interactive Resume 10/7/08

Today i started creating the floor on my resume. I used the line tool to make one pattern on the floor, then copied the pattern across the floor to save time.

i applied some gradients just so i can get colors in, to get a better effect, so their not final. I also highlighted the whole floor, went to edit, transform, distort, and changed the angle of the floor to match that of my perspective.

Then, i started crustruction on my computer consol by using the line tool.
